This week is a rich blend of modern neo-soul, underground jazz fusion, classic soul/funk, hip-hop-infused beats, and deep house/broken beat.
There is a beautiful thread here that connects raw, live instrumentation (like Dave Holland and Badbadnotgood) with soulful, beat-driven production (like The Alchemist, K15, and Bluestaeb), alongside legendary vocalists (Bill Withers, Billy Paul, Erykah Badu).
