In 2008, the same year this program was born, a graphic designer published a strange and beautiful book. He had set out to collect forgotten photographs from the Apollo missions, and somewhere in the grain of those images he found something he was not looking for. Shapes that seemed built. Towers. Spheres stacked upon spheres. Something he would only ever call the Temple of the Moon.
In 2009, he sat for one of the very first interviews I ever recorded on this show. And then he was gone. For 17 years he disappeared from my map entirely, into the quiet, into the work.
Tonight, he comes back. But he returns changed. Somewhere in those silent years, Sturm went back through his own book and did something almost no one in this field has the courage to do. He admitted that a great deal of what he once saw was never there at all. He let the weak evidence die. And what he found waiting underneath, after the sharper scans and the harder questions, is what he has come to show us tonight.
For those of you watching the video, you will see it with your own eyes. He will open the photographs and walk you through them the way he sees them. The geometry that hides in plain sight. The one frame he has never once been able to explain away.
We will travel back to deep time, to a Moon that may have been a destination long before we were anything at all. We will sit with the strange night a remote viewer looked at his work and described an ancient, abandoned mine. And we will ask what it would mean for all of us, down here, if we are not the first hands to ever shape that surface.
He is not asking you to believe him. He is asking you to look again.
