Season 17, Episode 35 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I discuss the Pittsburgh Steelers signing veteran ILB Elandon Roberts to their practice squad this week. Will Roberts be used in Week 6? Will it be a little while before we see him in a game again? We discuss those two questions.

Can the Steelers start stacking a few wins in their next three games? Their schedule certainly seems like that could happen.

The Steelers have seemingly lost two wide receivers, Roman Wilson and Ben Skowronik, to injuries for the immediate future so we discuss the team not having them for the Week 6 game. We discuss what this might mean for the offense and how WR Brandon Smith having a bigger role out of the chute is likely to happen. We also discuss how the shortage at the wide receiver position might force HC Mike McCarthy to lean a little more into 12 and 13 personnel groupings and how that might not be a terrible thing if it happens.

McCarthy talked on Monday about the role RB Rico Dowdle might have once he returns from his toe injury. We discuss how we hope that Dowdle doesn’t eat too much into the playing time of RB Jaylen Warren.

Steelers DC Patrick Graham was on the sideline for the team's Week 5 game against the Indianapolis Colts and that move really seems to have been popular with the players. We discuss that and a few things that Graham had to say during his Monday press conference.

After finally getting through the all-22 tape from the Steelers' Week 5 home win against the Colts, Alex and I give our thoughts on what we observed from the offense, defense, and special teams units.
