Season 17, Episode 10 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. We discuss the cash flow of Benton's deal through the 2026 and 2027 seasons and little fully guaranteed money is included.
While Benton now officially has a new money average that equals that of DT Cameron Heyward, we explain how Heyward will earn much more in cash over the course of the next two seasons. We also go on to speculate why Benton accepted such a team-friendly contract as opposed to betting on himself in 2026.

On the heels of Alex releasing his quarterback grades for training camp, we make sure to highlight those midway through this show.While we plan to do a more detailed preview of the Friday night preseason game against the Jets during the next podcast episode, Alex and I reveal some of the early things we look forward to seeing in that next exhibition contest. We go over where OT Broderick Jones might play Friday night and if OL Brock Hoffman might see the second-team snaps at center in that contest.
