Winning by nearly 6 pounds, George stuck to one stretch and adjusted masterfully throughout the event. For the win, the North Carolina pro earned a Phoenix 819 Pro with a 200-horsepower Mercury or Suzuki outboard worth $50,000, and a $2,500 Phoenix MLF Bonus.
