Robina Lajin: working on the identity building for Assyrian youth in the diaspora

Robina Lajin recently visited Australia to participate in the Policy Summit on the Future of the Nineveh Plains, held at Parliament House in Canberra. As Vice President of the Etuti Institute, a non-profit organisation based in the United States, she joined a panel of experts to discuss the future of the Nineveh Plains and the challenges facing the Assyrian people. In an interview with SBS Assyrian, Ms Lajin spoke about the work of the Etuti Institute, her academic research, and her thesis on the role and aspirations of Assyrian youth in preserving their identity and shaping their community's future.
