In this PWTorch Dailycast series titled "Worse or Better," Josh White and a guest discuss one aspect of today's pro wrestling scene and compare it to previous eras and decide if today is... worse or better. This week, Josh and Chris Lansdell started out by establishing when it's okay for someone to kick out after a finishing move. They took a historical look at the protection of finishers and some early notable kickouts. Chris and Josh moved into the Attitude Era and the early 2000s as kicking out of finishers became more common. As the discussion moved into the modern day, Josh and Chris considered some current finishers that have been protected before determining whether the state of finisher kickouts is worse or better than it has ever been.
