Marianne Okal has one of the most interesting jobs in Antarctica. That's because she is a GPS Field Engineer with UNAVCO who gets to work with all kinds of researchers in Antarctica.

UNAVCO is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes Earth science by advancing high-precision techniques for the measurement and understanding of the Earth's crustal deformation. UNAVCO is also involved in supporting public and community education.
