So last April I got nostalgic and recorded a 90's (isolating in the) house mix. A year later Ontario is going into our latest 4 week lockdown and I'm getting nostalgic again, but this time for the hip hop from my twenties. There will be a second "street" edition, but part one here is (for lack of a better word) more of the "backpack" stuff. Still boom bap, but not the street, club or radio stuff... this is the jazz sampling more underground stuff. I had to put #Dilla on the artwork because his productions are all over this mix!
