In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, we begin with positive news. The U.S. economy grew at a robust 3.4% last quarter, the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis reported Thursday. But another report showed inflation worsened last month, and both reports add fuel to the possibility of another Federal Reserve interest rate hike this year. Third-quarter gross domestic product rose 3.4% on an annualized basis, beating expectations and the 2.5% and 2.2% growth recorded in the first and second quarters, respectively. This would mark the largest GDP growth in a year, but it’s also subject to revisions. The figure released by the government was an “advance” estimate of GDP, with two more updates scheduled between now and late December.

Also all indications are that The President plans to go back into Iran / audio from Fox News' Harold Ford Jr. explaining his Democratic party's errors / the latest on the Alaska Senate scandal / and the guys discuss their plans for Halloween. Gary will hand out candy, Eric will give out advice.
