We at MergingArts spoke with Award winners from our Womanimation! 2026 Film Festival, which took place in Boston (USA).

Jadwiga Ligeza, a Polish Animator based in London, won the Jury Grand Prize at the Womanimation! 2026 Film Festival for her film, Rock Song.

We also spoke with duo, Emma Carre and Mathilde Parquet, French Animators who co-wrote and directed the stop-motion musical animated film, Signal.

Signal won the Audience Award at the 2026 Womanimation! Film Festival and was the runner-up for the Jury Grand Prize.
