The divine call given to the Church at Thyatira in Revelation chapter 2, is no different from the call given to believers and churches today. God's people are constantly tempted to blend different ideas, philosophies, and ways of worship, with other false religions, and idolatries in this world. Yet, Jesus calls his people to repent and turn from the lies, and deceptions of this world, and to hold fast to his words. Faithful people of God must do works of godliness, and holiness, and seek to do the will of God on earth as it is done in heaven!
