James moves from disregarding God's sovereignty as he concludes chapter four to the return of Christ in chapter five. In the first five verses he addresses the spiritual attitude toward money and pleasure. In short he says, money is dangerous. To have little or a lot, money is dangerous! Acquiring money can become an addiction. He says, Christ is coming and judgment is coming with Him.
