E889 | Homecoming Replenish - Session 3: The Wilderness

In this live session from a recent Wild at Heart gathering, John Eldredge names what we wish wasn't true: We live in the wilderness, not Eden. This life in the desert wears us down over time, resulting in resignation, cynicism, and isolation. Our hearts cry out, But what about me, God? as we seek relief by arranging for our own personal Eden. It will never work—because the primary purpose of the wilderness is our transformation, which is only possible through God's presence and resources.
