In 1 Corinthians 9:1–18, Paul challenges the Corinthians that while he had legitimate rights as an apostle, he willingly laid them down so that nothing would stand in the way of the gospel. This message invites us to put the gospel first—above all rights—and to trust God to use our faithful service.
