For more than 20 years the Russell Landcare Trust in the Bay of Islands, has been working to remove introduced predators and bring back native birds. And now they're on the cusp of a historic achievement - becoming the first town on mainland New Zealand to eliminate possums and rats. Northland reporter Peter de Graaf reports.
