Dunedin's Pukekura/Taiaroa Head National Park is home to the Southern Hemisphere's only mainland colony of Northern Royal Albatross - or toroa. Right now, last season's chicks are preparing to leave their nests and a new lot of breeding adult birds will soon make landfall. But with the H5N1 Bird flu virus now wreaking havoc in Australia, there are concerns for this coming breeding season.
