Having DK in the bath with me felt like such a gift: a generous offering of time, knowledge and presence. So many people want to understand gender more deeply but feel awkward, shy or unsure where to begin. Gender, with all its limbs and layers, can feel like unfamiliar terrain.
And then there was DK: grounded, kind, clear and willing to meet every question with patience and wisdom. The perfect person to sit with all the curiosity you lemons send in. Honestly, we could have talked for hours. My list of questions was nowhere near finished.
