Some stories can only be understood from the inside. Some from the understanding of time on target. Simon Ostrovsky brings both to covering the geopolitics of modern Russia. The veteran conflict correspondent and founding member of VICE takes us into the Russian way of fighting from the mind to the battlefield and gives us a glimpse at the future of conflict in the region.
Simon Ostrovsky is a PBS NewsHour Special Correspondent and one of the founders of VICE News, where he covered the outbreak of war in Ukraine and conflicts around the world. He recently started his own Substack and YouTube channel which he plans to use to create new, original from-the-ground reporting. Follow him there at SOSTROVSKY to keep up with his exploits.
