The Cath Maige Tuired is a story of the aessídhe screaming and wailing and crying and their crying is the topic for our Telling today. But, before we enter the warm-wet bone-cage, we must plainly place the weave-lace of Irish Mythology’s “screaming faeries” so that the rest of this story’s architecture may be sound, strong, secure. We will dive into Irish Mythology’s understanding of SCREAMING and then we will emerge into the story of the Cath Maige Tuired together. That is today’s journey.
