Reflecting with Charbel El Hage and Majd Samia on the Gift of True Friendship

Charbel El Hage is a content creator and powerlifting champion from Lebanon. He is currently pursuing studies in theology and has a deep passion for Catholic thought, media, and evangelization. He is particularly interested in using media as a powerful tool to proclaim the Gospel.

Majd Samia works in marketing and charcoal distribution. He has a special interest in the mystical dimension of the Catholic Church and the lives and spirituality of the saints.

Together with Jimmy Chaaya, Charbel and Majd lead Bible Study Lebanon, a biweekly gathering for young adults in Antelias, where they help others encounter Christ through Scripture.

In this episode of Bible Bites, we reflect on the gift of true friendship. We discover that authentic friendship is a gift from God—one that encourages us, challenges us, and ultimately leads us closer to Him. We also explore the friendship of the saints, who continue to accompany and intercede for us, though we often overlook their presence in our lives. Above all, we are reminded that the greatest and most faithful Friend we will ever have is our Lord Jesus Christ.
