Orange, Pink & Yellow: The Luke Tuckwell Story

Dela

He grew up in Orange, Australia. Last year he wore the Maglia Rosa at the Baby Giro. A year later he found himself in the yellow jersey at the Dauphiné - now known as the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

This is the story of Luke Tuckwell. The 21-year-old Australian from Red Bull–BORA–hansgrohe who introduced himself to the cycling world with a breakthrough performance at this year’s Dauphiné.

In this episode, Luke tells the story of his journey from Down Under to the top of European cycling. From riding in Orange and moving alone to Europe as a teenager, to wearing pink in Italy and yellow in France.

He talks about the people who shaped his path - including Aussie figures like Simon Clarke, Mark Renshaw, Jai Hindley and Jarrad Drizners - and about the life-changing grief of losing his younger sister last year after illness.

This is not only a story about pink and yellow jerseys. It is a conversation with a remarkably reflective and mature young rider with huge dreams and even bigger potential.

Hosted by Anders Mielke with special guest Luke Tuckwell.
