Last month, we attended our first ever narrative tournament! The Warhammer 40k Narrative Event in Newport, UK, was a fantastic weekend full of epic games and community spirit.
Lukas's Necrons traversed the galaxy (well, European airspace...) to acquire new artefacts for their library, while Howie's Tyranids had a short trek in search of their next snack.
Zero jetlag meant the Tyranids were particularly fresh-faced, earning them a spot in the painting competition. (Kidding, it was Howie's awesome paint job! *quietly packs tiny necron-sized skin care kits for next year...*)
It was an absolute pleasure to spend a weekend playing our favourite game, hanging out with the UK community, and seeing the wonderful paint jobs on display — both at the painting competition and on the table!
Special thanks goes to the fantastic Events Team from Games Workshop, as well as our awesome opponents!
