Not in the words, but underneath them. At first, it sounds like static. A glitch. A flaw in the recording. Something that changes every time it's played back. At first, he thinks it’s distortion, interference, or even equipment failure.


But it doesn’t stay the same.


It shifts.

It deepens.

It starts to sound like… something trying to be understood.


And the deeper he listens, the harder it becomes to ignore. The tapes aren’t just recording him. They're listening back, and they're responding.
