Welcome back to The Gory Details, our occasional series of bonus episodes!

In this second episode we chat with Dr Pete Turner, Lecturer in Film and Digital Media Production at Oxford Brookes University, and discuss his research and resulting book on the underage viewing habits of kids growing up in the 80s, as well as his own love of horror.

His book, "Unsuitable Film and Video Audiences: Underage Viewing Memories and Practices in 1980s United Kingdom" is available from Edinburgh University Press. Be warned - it's not cheap, but a much more affordable paperback release is on the horizon, so keep an eye out for that.

Pete's podcast, The Limits Of Horror, is available here.

Enjoy!
