Sebastian Jacobsen shares how living in Chile for six months changed his perspective on work, ambition and opportunity.

Working with artists, models and musicians in Santiago, he built his network by reaching out and doing free work, focusing on growth over payment. We talk about Janteloven, the difference between Norway and abroad, and how a simple DM led to his work being published in the international fashion and culture magazine Kaltblut.

He also reflects on how travelling outside Norway gave him a new perspective on the culture back home, and why creatives need to collaborate more and be better at backing themselves.
