What happens after the healing?

It's a question we don't often ask—but perhaps we should.

After spending months or even years praying for healing, it's natural to wonder how life will change when God answers those prayers. Will we still seek Him with the same passion? Will we continue to abide in His presence? And who are we when our identity is no longer wrapped up in illness, injury, or the waiting?

In this heartfelt episode of Healing God's Way, I share a very personal struggle I've been wrestling with: the unexpected fear of what comes after healing. Together, we'll explore what Jesus meant when He said, "Abide in Me" (John 15:4–5), why God warned the Israelites not to forget Him after entering the Promised Land (Deuteronomy 8), and how our true identity has never been found in our circumstances—but in Christ alone.

We'll also talk about an emotion many people rarely admit: feeling guilty when our prayers are answered while others are still waiting. How do we receive God's blessings with gratitude while continuing to walk alongside those who are still trusting Him for their breakthrough?

If you've ever wondered whether healing might change your relationship with God, this episode is for you.

Remember this: healing may change your circumstances, but it never changes your identity. You are, and always will be, God's beloved child.
