Hosts Stephen & Paul Nicholson slow things down this week with Queen’s tender ballad Dear Friends. The brothers critique the track’s delicate harmonies and emotional brevity, sharing their favourite moments — from Freddie’s heartfelt vocal delivery to Brian’s understated piano work.

Listeners will also enjoy fascinating song facts, including how this short piece became one of Queen’s most intimate recordings on Sheer Heart Attack. As always, the show wraps up with the weekly Queen quiz question, challenging fans to test their band knowledge.

Don’t miss next week’s episode, when the brothers turn their attention to the playful groove of Misfire.
