Recorders without Borders: Music in the Classroom

In this episode, Lynn Brooks, founder of Recorders without Borders, and music teacher Samantha Salazar share how music is becoming part of classroom learning in Wamunyu. During their time volunteering with Kenya Connect, they helped train teachers from partner schools to bring recorder instruction into their classrooms as part of the curriculum. The partnership has also provided 1,400 recorders for teachers and learners. You’ll hear some recorder music along the way.
