In 2004, Debbie went in for a routine hysterectomy that turned deadly when a botched procedure left her bleeding internally, needing six blood transfusions and emergency surgery. During that surgery she had a near death experience, leaving her body to meet a luminous being of pure frequency in a golden wildflower field in the afterlife.
