U.S. Army Green Beret Gabe Gaines shares his journey through Army Special Forces, a crisis of faith, fatherhood, identity, and ultimately finding his way back to Jesus Christ.
After growing up as a pastor’s son, Gabe walked away from his faith, later returned to Christ, served as an urban missionary, and eventually found success in the corporate world. But something was still missing. That search for purpose ultimately led him to the U.S. Army and the Green Berets.
Earning the Green Beret and reaching his first Special Forces detachment should have been the fulfillment of a dream. Instead, Gabe found himself spiritually lost and questioning his faith for nearly two years.
Gabe opens up about Special Forces, spiritual warfare, fatherhood, forgiveness, healing, redemption, and what happens when achieving the thing you thought would give your life purpose still leaves you searching for more.
