When six-year-old Kaylah Hunter missed her kindergarten graduation in June 2014, her family knew something was wrong.
Kaylah, her baby brother Kristian Justice, and their mother, Alicia Fox, had seemingly disappeared from Detroit. Alicia was eventually found murdered, and Kristian’s father, Erin Justice, would later plead guilty to killing her.
But the children were never found.
There were people who saw Kaylah and Kristian during the narrow window surrounding their mother’s murder. There was an accomplice who said the children were still alive when he last saw them. And there was a man eventually sent to prison for Alicia’s death who never provided the answer her family desperately wanted: what happened to her children?
More than twelve years later, Kaylah and Kristian remain missing.
This is the disappearance of Kaylah Hunter and Kristian Justice.
If you have information about their whereabouts, contact the Detroit Police Department at 313-596-5600 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-773-2587.
