What happens when finding Jesus completely changes your life… and someone who has known you forever never even asks what happened?
In this episode, I’m talking about something I’ve recently experienced myself and honestly didn’t realize bothered me as much as it did. This isn’t about expecting the people we love to believe what we believe, follow Jesus because we do, or suddenly make every conversation about God. It’s about something much more personal: wanting the people who say they know us to still be curious about who we’re becoming.
We’re talking about the difference between knowing someone’s history and knowing them now, why curiosity doesn’t equal agreement, what it feels like to accept that someone may simply not care to ask, and why we shouldn’t automatically assign spiritual explanations to their silence. I also talk about learning to stop waiting for the question, letting our lives speak without trying to force our testimony on anyone, and making sure we’re giving other people the same curiosity we wish they would give us.
