Separatist sentiment is rapidly growing in Alberta. Over 300,000 people signed a petition for an independence referendum. Although a judge rejected this, anger has only grown, making a referendum on separation more likely. 
This week on the Class Line, Joel is joined by Laine Sheldon Houle to discuss the desire to separate from Canada and the position communists take towards the Alberta separatist movement. Note: This podcast was filmed on Tuesday May 19th, before Alberta Premier Danielle Smith announced the referendum on May 21st.
