The First Classroom in Hell Is a Bible Study Without Context | Live at The Send

Satan quoted Psalm 91 to the Son of God. His citations were accurate. His chapter and verse were right, yet he omitted the very next line, the one that promised his own demise. The first classroom in hell is a Bible study without context. This episode is a live teaching from The Send where Pastor Darren and Angela unpack Matthew 4, counter-formation, and what it looks like to be formed by Jesus in a world that is actively forming you into something else.

In this episode:

• Matthew 4 and the temptation of Jesus where Satan uses scripture to combat faithfulness, grab power, and omit what does not serve him
• Gen Z Bible reading hit 49% in one year and belief in the Bible's accuracy is shrinking at the same time
• Engagement is outpacing conviction and what the Barna data actually reveals about the church right now
• The first classroom in hell is a Bible study without context and it is happening on Instagram every day
• You can quote scripture and still be Satan and the difference between quoting the word and submitting to it
• Angela's testimony of being saved at 25, delivered from alcoholism and eating disorders, and what the Word did in her life
• Cultural Christianity has changed three things including your relationship with scripture, the church, and the lordship of Jesus
