#57: Omer Bartov on the Future of Israel-Palestine

For this week's episode Omer Bartov, Professor of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Brown University, joins Malek and Matt to discuss his new book Israel: What Went Wrong.

We talk about the comparative frameworks necessary to make sense of history, and the process through which Zionism became a state ideology. We hear about the decline of the Israeli left, and trace the various breaking points that should make the country's status quo untenable.
