As families divide and follow Jadon toward the northern ridge, Noah faces a choice more difficult than building the Ark: whether to hold his people together through force or risk losing them by allowing them to choose. Shem, Noah’s oldest son, challenges his father to become more than the man who carried humanity through the flood. If Noah is to lead the new world, he must learn to share its burden.
