The World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report projects AI will create 170 million new jobs by 2030, against 92 million displaced, for a net gain of 78 million [PROJECTION, from a 1,000+ employer survey across 55 economies]. Almost everyone has heard the displacement number. Almost nobody can name one of the 170 million, because the creation half of that story never traveled the way the destruction half did.
