In this episode, my friend Carly Dowdle and I talk honestly about what ministering actually looks like in the thick of motherhood. How do we minister when we have little kids, limited time, and barely enough mental space to remember what we had for breakfast? How do we know what to do when ministering feels vague? And how do we love and serve people without turning relationships into another checklist?
We talk about making ministering feel natural, connecting with people who are different from us, recognizing spiritual promptings, knowing when we're doing enough, and learning to see the women around us the way the Savior does. We also share the beautiful ways ministering has blessed both of our lives.
Drawing from Kristin Yee's April 2026 message on ministering, this conversation is a reminder that sometimes ministering is simply noticing, reaching out, and letting God love someone through us. In the end, it's the effort and the sacrifice that transform us and bring miracles into our lives.
