TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE:

Proverbs 13:25

The righteous has enough to satisfy his appetite, but the belly of the wicked suffers want. (ESV)

SUMMARY

We read Proverbs 13:25 and sit with a blunt contrast: righteousness brings a settled “enough” while self-seeking produces a life of want. We close by asking God to show us our hearts, reshape our desires, and teach us to rest and trust instead of striving.

• reading Proverbs 13:25 as an evening mindset meditation
• checking our level of contentment before sleep
• noticing how righteousness shapes satisfaction without focusing on quantity
• naming how self-focused desire can hardwire discontentment
• praying to let go of ambition, striving and restless want
• asking God to make us satisfied in him and able to rest
