Every year the best and brightest minds at the University of Auckland compete in The Energy Centre’s Energy Case Competition. Teams are presented with a contemporary energy challenge to research, solve, and present to a panel ofindustry experts within weeks. This year, the Chair in Energy Economics, and the Director of The Energy Centre at the University of Auckland, Professor Emilson Silva, asked students whether New Zealand should enter the international race for data centres and build them on our shores.
