CBS Radio Mystery Theater presents “The Haunted Mill,” episode 737, originally broadcast November 8, 1977. Adapted by James Agate, Jr. from Dick Donovan’s 1899 ghost story “The Corpse Light,” this Gothic mystery was produced and directed by Himan Brown.

After a three-year journey abroad, Dr. James Patmore returns to find the woman he loves drawn into another man’s orbit. Old emotions and rivalries intensify as Patmore becomes fascinated by a decaying mill rumored to be haunted. The cast includes Ralph Bell, Russell Horton, Patricia Elliott, and Court Benson.
