This week in our Diving Deeper series, Adam sat down with Pastor Bryan Wolfmueller here on Kauai to talk about something we all carry but rarely name out loud. The CONSCIENCE.

Pastor Bryan breaks it down like any great American Pastor would. Using a sports analogy! The conscience as a home plate umpire, calling balls and strikes on everything we say and do, and sometimes getting the call wrong. As a window, where a dirty conscience doesn't just make the world outside look dangerous, it makes us start seeing our own sin reflected in everyone around us. We talk about how a tender conscience gets calloused over time, sin by sin, commandment by commandment, and why some of the sins we've stopped feeling guilty over might be the ones we need to feel most.

But this isn't just a conversation about guilt. There's GOOD NEWS! Pastor Bryan walks through the difference between guilt and shame, why our own effort can never wash us clean, and how the conscience is made new. It is cleansed through faith in Christ's blood, and healed through a life of service and love.
