Today, we will practice two common Korean grammar patterns: ~서 and ~기 때문에.


Both expressions mean “because” in English and are used to explain a reason and can often be used interchangeably.


~서 is more common in everyday conversation, while ~기 때문에 is more formal and emphasizes the reason more strongly.
