After eight years of meth addiction, Tracy sits down with *Two Addicts and a Moron* to tell a story she spent years being afraid to talk about.

Tracy and Stu share a past that includes addiction, meth psychosis, bizarre memories they can laugh about today, and moments that were anything but funny when they were living through them. But this episode goes much deeper than old war stories.

Tracy opens up about being adopted, growing up around addiction, becoming a mother, how meth entered her life, multiple attempts at rehab, the possibility of losing her kids, and the moment she finally decided something had to change.

The conversation also gets into the complicated reality of recovery: using kratom after meth, Suboxone, AA and NA, shame inside recovery communities, whether sobriety looks the same for everyone, and why sometimes the thing helping someone escape one addiction can become another addiction of its own.

More than five years after leaving meth behind—and now experiencing life without kratom—Tracy talks about learning to actually feel again, rebuilding her relationship with her children and parents, reconnecting with God, rediscovering her creativity, and figuring out who she is beyond the worst things she’s ever done.
