Jake Luhrs may be one of the nicest people in the metal scene that I've had the pleasure to talk with on the show. Jake's story isn't the classic: started a band in high school, local show(s), small friend label etc. it's about taking chances on yourself, putting everything you have into something you love and letting passion win over predictability. It's amazing what he and August Burns Red have achieved over the years, and I look forward to seeing it continue. In this episode we talk about: betting on yourself, being a "fake" frontman, what can a band with so much history do new, Jake's code words, the famous Christmas Burns Red & more!
Lancaster friends, December 3rd at the Freedom Hall, August Burns Red return home for their annual Holiday show. Lineup includes: Underoath, Atreyu, Emery and 1 special guest not announced yet. Make sure to get your tickets today and check out their kick-off party, December 2nd, at the Marriott.
