Edmonton Oilers Look To Stay HOT + Nuge To Set Oilers Franchise Record

Welcome back to The Sauce with Ryder & Lisa, Edmonton’s weekday morning show bringing you the latest Oilers news, NHL storylines, trending topics and plenty of morning chaos! The Edmonton Oilers are back in action tonight as they take on the New Jersey Devils with a chance to complete a perfect road trip! Edmonton has already picked up two wins in New York, and Ryder and Lisa are breaking down what the Oilers need to do to keep the momentum going and come home with another victory. There's also a historic night ahead for Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, who is set to play his 1,038th game as an Edmonton Oiler. That appearance would move him into first place for most games played in franchise history, making him the all-time games played leader in Oilers history. The crew discusses what this milestone means for one of the most important players in the organization's history. Plus, Layna from Caleo Collective joins the show to talk about some incredible sports memorabilia heading to auction in support of their Santa Auction. It's a great opportunity to learn more about the initiative and the items fans could have a chance to get their hands on. And, as always, there's plenty happening outside the world of hockey! The crew gets into the upcoming Elks vs. Lions matchup, with temperatures potentially reaching double digits and more than 30,000 fans expected. Ryder also reveals his latest addiction, the Barstool Internet Invitational, while the gang tackles some of the strangest stories making headlines. 🏒 Oilers vs. Devils: Can Edmonton complete the road trip sweep? 📈 Ryan Nugent-Hopkins makes history!
