If you’re AuDHD and struggle to ask for help, you might feel that you will never be able to rely on others for help. But - you’re responding exactly how your nervous system learnt to respond.
In this episode, I explore why asking for help feels so impossible for many neurodivergent adults - from the energy it takes to explain, to the years of unmet needs, to the conditioning that taught us our worth depends on managing alone.
Drawing on both my professional experience and my own journey as a late-discovered AuDHD person, I offer a reframe: asking for help isn’t weakness. It’s nervous system safety. And it’s something we’re all learning to believe is possible.
