The Traitors New Blood Season 5 Episode 7 | Slip Ups, Round Table Carnage, and Black Hearts in the Field

Scottish castle paranoia detonated into open warfare in Season 5, Episode 7 of The Traitors: New Blood, titled "It's Like Fighting Two Pigs Under a Blanket," proving that when the Faithfuls smell blood, they will happily devour their sharpest detective! Walking into breakfast, the castle was rattled to discover that Mark had been murdered in the night—a calculated strike that only fueled Victor Vollbrechthausen’s relentless crusade to blow the lid off the turret. Armed with his unshakeable "Fruitgate" theory tracking who handled the poisoned apple, Victor doubled down on his crusade, openly naming Traitor Tomica Adams and cornering her in private. Under pressure, Tomica made a fatal slip by tossing fellow Traitor Katie under the bus—giving Victor explosive ammunition that threatened to bring the entire cloaked syndicate crashing down!

Out on the grounds, the mission took a vicious, cutthroat turn around strawmen and hidden fortunes. Tasked with ripping open scarecrows to bank gold while dodging devastating "black heart" disqualifiers, the players dropped all pretenses of teamwork. Shane weaponized a black heart to knock Victor out of running for the secret advantage, while Clyde, Abby, and Ben strategically neutralized Morgan, Wyatt, and Katie. Though the group banked $15,300 for the prize pot, the real tension shifted to who secretly stockpiled the most cash to win the mysterious castle power lurking in the background!

The episode reached fever pitch inside the Round Table chamber. Victor laid out the whole blueprint: calling out the murder in plain sight, dissecting Tomica’s evasive shifts, and exposing her Katie slip-up to the entire table. But in classic Faithful fashion, the group fell victim to scattered paranoia and groupthink, casting a fractured, messy vote that put Victor directly on the chopping block with the majority tally. Just as Victor prepared to walk to the Circle of Truth and reveal his status, Alan Cumming dropped the ultimate tactical bombshell: introducing the Power of the Pardon! Awarded to the top earner from the scarecrow trial, this never-before-seen advantage gives one player unilateral authority to either uphold the banishment or grant Victor total salvation. With the episode cutting out on the cliffhanger of the century, Victor's game life hangs entirely on who holds the pardon! Want Danielle and Jay's immediate, unfiltered forensic breakdown of Victor’s Round Table stand, Tomica's Traitor slip, and who holds the Pardon?
