Sharks GM Mike Grier just locked in head coach Ryan Warsofsky with a contract extension—yes, even without the details—and it’s a major vote of confidence. Warsofsky, promoted last June after two years as an assistant, has already turned things around: 34 more points last season, unlocking potential from stars and prospects alike. He’s hungry to get the Sharks back to the playoffs for the first time since 2019, and Grier believes he’s only getting better. With key players like Celebrini and Smith on the rise and new defensemen adding stability, the focus is clear: build on progress, sharpen the power play, and keep the momentum going.
